The Underwood's Group collectively comprises of 3 operating companies with over
60 years combined experience in supplying high quality fresh meat products to
the catering industry. Each operating business has individually developed
its own individual customer base and specialist supply capabilities, but all
share the same aspiration to delight the customer at every level.
Strategically located in the North and South of England, all 3 operating
companies compliment the entire group offering and, together, enable the
Underwood's Group to provide an easily accessible service to customers across
all market sectors throughout the UK.
Underwood
Meat Company, based in Rotherham, offers multi specie modern processing
techniques for volume and accuracy, specifically aimed at the volume High Street
'retail' pub & restaurant chains.
Northern
Catering, sharing the same site, although in a completely separate brand new
food factory unit, offers a more traditional bespoke, hand cut butchery and
portion control service; where exemplary product and high quality low volume are
critical for the independent client.
Barn Catering
Butchers, based in Fleet, enables the business to penetrate the Southern markets
within the catering industry from its base on the Elvetham Estate, and offers a
diverse product range of bespoke hand cut products tailored to individual
requirement, as well as a range of cooked and delicatessen product offerings.
